Upcoming Atlanta rapper Lil Gnar yesterday accused DJ Akademiks of causing him to become under investigation by local authorities, after he used a massively controversial word while reposting a video of Gnar with what looks like high-powered weaponry.

It’s not clear whether or not the Rocket Propelled Grenade launcher was real or just a prop, but Gnar claims Ak’s terminology escalated the issue to a level where authorities are now carrying out an investigation into him. Ak himself responded claiming that the RPG is what would have caught the authorities’ attention, not the controversial way he reported on it.

Gnar now claims his brand Gnarcotic is now restricted from being posted on Instagram due to people reporting he sells firearms, and urged his fans to help him get in contact with Instagram to resolve the issue.
