Chicago rapper Lil Mister, real name Antwon Fields, was shot and later passed away from his injuries earlier today [3/15/2019].

Although he is not named in the article, according to The Chicago Sun Times a 24-year-old man was fatally shot in the head around 7:15pm in the 7400 block of South Harvard Avenue in the South Side Englewood neighborhood. Other pages posted this exact location as the location of Mister’s alleged murder, and his friends confirmed his death on Instagram Live broadcasts.

Mister, who was popular for his early drill collaborations with Lil Jojo and Smylez (RIP), was taken to University of Chicago Medical Centre in critical condition, but did not pull through. Tributes poured in on the rapper’s Instagram page (@lilwoppa), from friends and fans of his music.
