After SayCheeseTV released their ‘Top 12 Detroit Rappers’ list today, a number of rappers had something to say via their social media accounts, inlcluding SmokeCamp Chino, Snap Dogg, Sada Baby & Kash Doll.

Hip-Hop blog/interview site SayCheeseTV today released a list of rappers who they believe are the Top 12 Detroit rappers for Summer 2017, based on a number of different factors including “consistency, productivity, streams, booked shows, highlight moments, power moves & REAL organic views”. The artists featured on the list were mainly expected, with big names like Rocaine and Tee Grizzley, yet some people found SayCheese’s choices controversial.

In response to these rappers’ posts, Glo Gang’s SmokeCamp Chino, OTF’s Snap Dogg and Sada Baby all posted videos claiming that the list is not that serious and simply shows one organisation’s opinion. Kash Doll was also featured on the list, but for unknown reasons asked SayCheeseTV to be removed from it. Snap Dogg’s affiliate CashPaid Elway also weighed in, with much the same viewpoint as the other Detroit rappers.
