According to a post on Twitter from 600Breezy, RondoNumbaNine & Cdai’s murder trial for the alleged 2014 slaying of livery driver Javan Boyd has resulted in a guilty verdict and a possible sentence of 45 years to life in prison.

The news has shocked fans and supporters worldwide who were in high hopes for the pair, real names Clint Massey and Courtney Ealy, who have been in custody since mid-way through 2014. They were 17 and 19 at the times of their arrest and were already well known in the Chicago rap/drill music scene, with some believing Rondo was set for musical success after linking with the likes of Lupe Fiasco and Meek Mill.

Details are still scarce at this point and all information is second hand but 600Breezy has posted a number of successive tweets confirming the news. More reactions to the news to follow.
