Flatbush, Brooklyn rapper 22Gz is out on bail following his recent arrest on multiple charges related to a shooting at a Brooklyn party hall that left 3 non-fatally injured.

The rapper posted a video to his Twitter account which showed him wearing the same black and yellow outfit as he was pictured wearing at Summer Jam but walking free to announce his release on bail:

The alleged incident occurred on March 6th 2022, when shots rang out in a Brooklyn party venue leaving 3 men with non life-threatening injuries.

One of the 3 men has directly identified 22Gz, real name Jeffrey Mark Alexander, as the shooter, which led to his arrest on the morning of Sunday June 12th.

22Gz was arrested and taken into custody at JFK (John F. Kennedy) airport in NY when returning from Atlanta for his billed appearance at Summer Jam festival.

According to records from the NYC Department of Corrections, 22Gz was held on Rikers Island and his bail was initially set at $500,000. It’s unclear so far whether or not he paid this bail or a different amount, and he will return to face the charges at another time futher down the line.
