According to prosecutors, Cdai and Rondo were said to have spotted the victim in the driver seat of his livery vehicle parked on the block and opened fire hitting him seven times.

Prosecutors said Cdai dropped his cellphone at the scene before him and the rest of the ‘group drove away’. Chicago Housing Authority surveillance cameras were said to have caught the shooting on video. and Police also recovered Cdai’s fingerprint on the window of Javan Boyd’s car.

The two internationally known underground rappers were arrested in the weeks after the attack and both were convicted of first-degree murder. RondoNumbaNine is scheduled for sentencing July 5th.
