Chicago rapper and GMEBE representative GMEBE Allo was arrested a couple of days ago in Chicago on gun charges.
Allo was arrested with a firearm on the infamous Parkway Gardens apartment complex (Chief Keef’s home block, known as ‘O-Block’ out of respect for fallen gang member Odee Perry) and charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
His charges are listed online as ‘AGG UUW/PERSON/LOADED/NO FCCA’, which stands for unlawful use of a loaded weapon on his person with no Firearm Owner’s Identification card. This charge can come with a sentence of 1-3 years in prison and a fine of $25,000. Due to extremely high crime rates in Chicago the policy of the Cook County State’s Attorney is to “seek a prison sentence in every case” even for first time offenders, despite being legally permitted to sentence an offender to probation for the weapon charge.
His bail has been set at $50,000 and he is currently being held in Cook County Jail.
A couple of days before his arrest, his Instagram page was also hacked and he urged fans to follow his new page @1GMEBE_Allo. Subscribe to this channel and follow us @RapCatchUp for updates on GMEBE Allo’s case as they emerge.
