One of Chicago rapper Lil Jay’s cousins was shot and killed just under a week ago in the Back of the Yards neighbourhood on Chicago’s South Side.

He was shot on Monday 28 June at night just a few blocks from his own home at around 10:10pm, and was taken to Stroger Hospital where he later died at 10:52pm.

Police reportedly responded to a call of a person shot in the 5400 block of South Bishop, and found the 23-year-old relative of Lil Jay lying on the sidewalk according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Whoever is controlling Lil Jay’s Instagram page while he is awaiting trial for conspiracy to/attempted murder [Watch HERE: https://goo.gl/AKwwZ9] posted a tribute to Arthur McGraw and let fans know he was the ‘Clout Lord’ rapper’s younger cousin.

The Chicago Sun Times reported that Lil Jay took a plea deal in his case and has been sentenced to 5 years, but this is completely unconfirmed and goes against Lil Jay’s own words in a recent VladTV interview.
