According to witnesses, Juice WRLD may have swallowed multiple pills in an attempt to avoid them being found during a search at the airport before his death just a few days ago.
Reports indicate the pilot of the plane tipped authorities off to the fact that the plane was carrying drugs and firearms, and Juice is said to have been seen “swallowing several pills” when he discovered the private jet was to be searched on landing at Chicago’s Midway International Airport. He was flying from California to Chicago early Sunday morning with an entourage of around 15 people, and was met by Federal agents and local police with a drug-sniffing dog. Juice apparently begun convulsing and having a seizure during the search, and was administered 2 shots of Narcan (an emergency treatment used to reverse the effects of opioids) before being transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Illinois, where he later passed away.
2 of Juice’s bodyguards were charged for firearm possession, and “70 pounds” of marijuana was reportedly found on board the private jet, along with “6 bottles of prescription codeine cough syrup”.
Juice’s autopsy took place yesterday, and an official cause of death is still pending awaiting various test results. His loss has shocked the Hip-Hop world, inspired multiple tributes & motivated discussion on drug abuse.
