Florida’s Kodak Black has been arrested again, this time for a probation violation. He was arrested in the courthouse after attending a court date today (2.28.17) in Broward County.

Kodak is on probation after May 2016 arrest for charges including strong arm robbery, false imprisonment, possession of a firearm by a delinquent & fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement. Kodak is now being held in Broward County Jail with no bond.

According to hip hop publication XXL, the probation violation itself was: “failing to remain confined to his approved residence except for one half hour before and after approved employment, public service work, or any other special activities approved by the officer […] on various times and dates, as evidenced from the pictures on video showing the offender at various places that were not approved.” In other words, Kodak had an approved list of locations he could be in while on probation, which did not include Adrien Boner’s boxing match on February 18th of this year. He was pictured numerous times alongside the boxer and even rapped his new hit ‘Tunnel Vision’ as the boxer made his entrance (his new music video accompanied single which has gone on to enter at #23 in the Billboard Hot 100 charts). Kodak Allegedly also violated probation by not completing a designated anger management course.

Kodak is currently in the middle of his ‘Back and Better’ tour and was scheduled to perform in New York City on March 1st but this, like the young rappers future, is now looking uncertain.
