According to ABC10 Miami, Kodak Black was involved in a fight in jail on Tuesday which left one guard needing surgery.
Kodak, who’s legal name is now Bill Kapri, was reportedly involved in the scrap with another inmate on the evening of Tuesday 30th at the Federal Detention Center in Miami, Florida where he is being held (33 NE 4th St, Miami, FL) . When a guard attempted to get involved in the fight to break it up, he was reportedly “kicked in the groin” and was taken to hospital as a result of his injuries.
The guard underwent surgery for his injuries, and his current condition is unknown. This story is currently developing, and will update this article with any further details as they become available.
Kodak is currently awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to charges stemming from lying on a form to legally obtain a firearm, and his sentencing date is currently set for November 13.
