300’s Lil Reese shocked his followers yesterday by posting an image of himself in a hospital bed, announcing that he has been diagnosed with Crohn’s disease.

Crohn’s disease is a chronic (lifelong) inflammatory disease which affects the digestive system or gut, causing abdominal pain, tiredness and weight loss. Reese posted the original picture to his SnapChat account, alongside the caption:

“POTASSIUM to low could suffer a heart attack just found out I got crown’s b bac”

Fans and supporters reposted the image on social networks, commented underneath and asked for prayers for the ‘Supa Savage’ rapper. The disease he has been diagnosed with and its effects on the body may well be one of the reasons why Lil Reese has not released as much music as many people expected him to in the time since his rise to fame alongside Chief Keef in 2012.
