Louisiana rapper JayDaYoungan was arrested after a raid in Harris County, Texas on Thursday February 6th for “assaulting a pregnant person”.
The property he was staying at in the 1400 block of Rocky Glen lane was raided by Harris County police at an unknown time on the 6th of February. Another man named Kadell Robins was located inside the property and JayDaYoungan, real name Javorious Scott, was reportedly located hiding in the attic.
Authorities reportedly discovered “several illegal substances, including Oxycodone, Promethazine and Marijuana”, along with 2 firearms and over $24,000 in cash. JayDaYoungan was taken in for his original warrant and also charged with possession of a controlled substance, and Robinson was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon.
It’s unclear where the assault of a pregnant person charge stems from. After being taken to the Harris County Jail Jay’s bond was set at $20,000, which means he’ll more than likely bond in the coming hours.
