Chicago rapper King Von passed away in the early hours of this morning [11/06/2020] after being shot outside a Hookah lounge in Atlanta.

Local news station WSB-TV2 Atlanta reported that a fight between “two separate groups…that escalated into gunfire” occurred in the early hours of Friday morning (November 6th 2020) outside the Monaco Hookah lounge off Trinity Avenue.

Reports from hip-hop media outlets are claiming the incident took place when Von and Savannah, Georgia rapper Quando Rondo (who is affiliated with NBA Youngboy)’s respective entourages clashed outside the venue.

2 off-duty police officers reportedly tried to intervene in the shootout but were shot at and then “fired back”. No officers were hurt, but 2 people associated with Von’s camp (known as Louie and ‘Slutty’) were killed, and at least 2 of Quando’s entourage were injured. Von was taken to hospital in critical condition but later passed away from his injuries.

It’s unclear at this time who was killed by who, and how many of the deaths and injuries were down to the off-duty police involvement. Friends and rappers have started to react to Von’s death after the news broke. RIP King Von
