Chicago rapper and Rico Recklezz affiliate Stain is currently in jail awaiting trial for the 2015 murder of a 20 year-old Chicagoan. and other additional charges.

The 21 year-old’s charge sheet on the commonly inaccurate Cook County Sheriff’s Inmate Locator shows a charge of aggravated fleeing from the police and bodily harm to somebody during his attempt to do so, but these charges come on top of the murder charge he is facing.

Stain was allegedly named as the shooter in an incident in broad daylight where him and his 22 year-old codefendant allegedly were involved in an argument which turned ugly in the the South Side Greater Grand Crossing neighbourhood. The victim was left with gunshot wounds to his chin and cheek from point blank range and died at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn less than an hour later.

His co-defendant was arrested the day after the shooting and is being held on $1 million bond. Stain was spotted a couple of days later at a gas station before speeding away, and a passenger in his car allegedly pointed his weapon at the officers which caused police to fire towards the vehicle, hitting nobody. Stain’s vehicle ran through more than one stop before crashing into a pole and another car, where both men in the car got out and ran. The passenger absconded from the police but Stain was found by a canine unit hiding in a garage around an hour later, and officers allegedly recovered a weapon from the vehicle.

Stain is currently being held with no bond awaiting trial for murder and the additional fleeing from the police charges. He has previous convictions for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a stolen vehicle, and reckless conduct. Video also features short audio clip of Stain speaking from jail to Rico Recklezz.
